Bay Area City Named Best Place to Raise a Family in 2023

When you’re single, you can move anywhere that appeals to you, but when you have a family, there’s a lot more to consider. Some locations are definitely better than others for families and a new report from WalletHub reveals where those are.

WalletHub’s annual list of the Best Cities to Raise A Family has just been released.

They compared 182 U.S. cities in 45 main areas related to families, including the cost of housing, the quality of local school and health-care systems, and opportunities for fun and recreation.

Coming in first for 2023 is Fremont, California, which tops the list for education & child care, and socioeconomics.

Overland Park, Kansas, is number one for affordability, while Los Angeles is first for family fun, and Irvine, California, is number one for health and safety.

Cleveland, Ohio comes in dead last, making it the worst city to raise a family.
