California Gas Prices Set To Go Up On Friday

Oh, great. The last thing we need: even higher gas prices!
According to ABC 7, On July 1, the annual gas tax increase will take effect, raising the cost across the state by around 3 cents a gallon.
Currently, the overall gas tax in California is around 51 cents per gallon and will bump up to 54 cents on Friday. Luckily, is not that much, but every penny really counts as of late.
As previously reported, lawmakers are working on direct payments to California residents for inflation relief.
