CMT Music Award Nominees Have a New Pack Leader.

They announced the nominees for this year’s “CMT Music Awards” . . . and Lainey Wilson leads the way with four nods.  Cody Johnson, Jelly Roll, and Kane Brown have three apiece.

There are 16 Video of the Year nominees, and they’ll narrow that down to SIX after the first round of voting ends on March 27th.  The top three will be announced on show day, with the winner being determined by social media.

The Breakthrough Video of the Year category has been divided into Male and Female subcategories.  There are six female nominees . . . and six male nominees . . . with one winner from each.

This is a fan-voted awards show, and you can cast your ballot now at vote.cmt.com.  Kane Brown and Kelsea Ballerini are the co-hosts, and the show airs live on CBS on April 2nd.  The full list of nominees is at CMT.com.
