A Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles restaurant in Pasadena was robbed on Wednesday evening, but money wasn’t the priority.

A gunman entered the restaurant demanding…a plate of fried chicken and waffles.

Roscoe’s cook Robert Gonzalez said the man was turned away after he would not put on a mask.

The man later returned again, this time with a gun, saying, ‘Put all the chicken in the bag.’ He left with some delivery orders.

Gonzalez knows Roscoe’s chicken is valuable, saying, “I understand we got some good chicken, but man.”

Ironically, surveillance video captured the man’s face because he wasn’t wearing a mask.

Have you ever had food from Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles?

What food would you take any day over a bag full of money?
