The 2023 CMT Music Awards were last night and they did not disappoint! Here are a few highlights:

Female Video Of the Year went to Lainey Wilson won for “Heart Like A Truck”. *See her at Goldensky in October!

Jelly Roll came up big with 3 wins for Male Video Of The Year – “Son of a Sinner”, Male Breakthrough Video Of The Year- “Son of a Sinner”, and CMT Digital-First Performance Of The Year- “Son of a Sinner”. *See him at Concord Pavilion in September!

Kane and Katelyn Brown made history as the first husband and wife duo to win Video Of The Year for “Thank God”. *See him (maybe them!) at SAP this month!

Shania Twain was awarded the 2023 Equal Play Award. *See Shania at Shoreline in May!

Lainey Wilson, Ingrid Andress, Madeline Edwards and Morgan Wade joined Alanis Morissette with a powerful performance of “You Oughta Know”. *See Ingrid at Goldensky in October!

Co-Host Kelsea Ballerini performed “If You Go Down, (I’m Going Down Too)”. *See Kelsea in Oakland in June!

And since I’m admittedly way too invested in this relationship, Kelsea Ballerini and Chase Stokes hard launched their relationship on the red carpet. 🙂
